17 years old’s me, not the recent me but I still look the same. =D

Hello people, I am Nick Chan or also known as Nicholas Chan to some. Well I am a blogger of course, blogging on this nick chan dot net, and currently is a student of Interior Design at Taylor’s University. It’s kinda difficult to define my location because I reside in both Kuala Lumpur and Penang because my campus is at Kuala Lumpur, but I do go back to my hometown, Penang occasionally.

I am quite a Penang-love as I love my hometown Penang a lot and will try to promote to everyone who are not from Penang or haven’t visit Penang. It’s an awesomely beautiful island up north of Peninsula Malaysia with awesomely, bravo variety of delicious food. =)

I was a student at Penang Chung Ling High School, graduated on year 2009 from class 5SA1, 4SA5, 3TA4, 2TA4, 1T9, so if you manage to come across this and looking for alumni, I might know who are you and we maybe friends, once.

Tech Freak

I have a strong interest on technology and gadgets. To be honest, I am a Apple fanboy and I love Steve Jobs very much, so do Johnathan Ive who designed most of Apple’s beautiful products. Though, I do not own all the Apple product because some I think it’s overpriced and over-rated. =) This special interest started when I was a very young boy, like 5 years old which is the first year I came across with “the Internet” and “Yahoo!”, from then on Internet and technology are part of my life. These are the stuff that I can’t live without with, besides my family and friends.

I do collect gadgets which made up a hobby of mine, like I do own many iPods at home, PSP, Nintendo DS, cameras and more. Unfortunately, I do not buy them purposely for collection. It’s all come in either I need it or a gift. A little bit inside of me is that I am using a Google Nexus One and I am loving Android, a Nokia N95 8GB for texting and secondary phone, iPod touch 1st gen as music device, iPad as gaming and web browsing, and iPod shuffle for I don’t know when do I use it, jogging perhaps. If I am rich and I print money, I would just buy gadget like buying stamps, but I am not, I still have a long list of shopping list, as always.

Love For Photography

Photography is a passion, a hobby, an interest, a fun thing to do. I dumped PlayStation 2 (I did not throw it away) for taking photographs of little things and big things. Spent many money on camera gears and repairing work and I broke my camera stuff always. I feel that photography is something that is art and fun, it makes me feel that life has a target, which makes life not boring. It can capture all the beautiful and historical moment of people, it’s magical.

I am not a professional, but I am willing to learn. I learn everyday. Currently, my photography gear are as below:

Travel

Well, another interest of mine is traveling. So at this blog, you will see my traveling post. But due to budget constrain, I am not able to travel around the world. Haha. My dream is to go around the world and the number one wanted-to-go place is New York City, I just love the lights and billboards on Times Square, next would be all cities of Europe because of the calmness and the artistic old architecture which are so… sexy. =D I just couldn’t find other word to describe my craving.

But yes, traveling is fun and I like it a lot. I love to see and experience different culture and food. Look at the architecture and people from different part of the world.

Gaming and Entertainment

To be honest, I don’t really play games a lot. I am definitely not a DoTA-kaki, but I do play Left 4 Dead, sometimes.  I want to play game on the PlayStation 3 but I have no money to buy the game so gaming is not really an interest to me. I am more into film as I am a frequent movie goer and love all sort of film. Film is an art and it’s wonderful.

I do some short films, when I am free, sometimes, for fun. I am not pro but is still learning. =)

The Blog

This blog is mainly about everything in my life. I am a life-blogger instead of some event-blogger or money-blogger out there. I confess that I do have sponsored post some times but it’s just part of the sponsor that keep this site running and more content coming up. Life, college, friends, family, happiness, Penang, fun, event and what’s happening around me made up of this blog.
